米政権、再エネ・気候対策・農業を大幅削減来年度予算で提案

［ワシントン　２日　ロイター］ - トランプ米政権が２日公表した２０２６会計年度（２５年１０月─２６年９月）の連邦政府予算では、再生可能エネルギーや電気自動車（ＥＶ）充電網整備、気候変動抑止に向けた事業などで、大規模な歳出削減が盛り込まれた。

歳出削減額は全体で１６３０億ドル（約２３兆６０００億円）。軍事費を除く予算は２割超がカットされる。

エネルギー関連の予算では、２０２１年に当時のバイデン政権下で成立したインフラ投資法の二酸化炭素（ＣＯ２）回収や再生可能エネ関連の予算から、１５０億ドル（約２兆１５００億円）超の削減を要求。ＥＶ充電施設網整備の予算も６０億ドル減らす。

その一方で、エネルギー省の予算を石油、ガス、石炭、重要鉱物、原子炉、先進核燃料の量産技術の研究・開発に振り向けた。

内務省の予算では、洋上風力発電事業を含む再生可能エネルギー事業で８０００万ドルを削減。

農務省の予算削減は４５億ドル超に上る。特に土壌保全留保計画（ＣＲＰ）に基づいて政府が休耕に対し農家に支払う補助金や地方の水利・住宅整備事業の補助金などの大幅な削減を求めた。この予算が成立すれば、農家は大きな影響を受けるとみられる。環境保護局（ＥＰＡ）については、予算を前年度から５５％近く削ることを提案。気候変動などに関する事業や研究・調査に対する補助金の削減や規制緩和を重視するトランプ氏の方針が反映された。
