中国当局、米特許商標庁職員の出国禁止＝米国務省

[ワシントン２１日ロイター] - 米国務省は２１日、個人的な訪問で中国に滞在していた米特許商標庁職員の出国を中国当局が禁じたと発表した。

国務省報道官は「われわれはこの事案を注視しており、事態の早期解決に向け中国当局と協力している」と述べた。

米紙ワシントン・ポストが２０日、関係筋の話として伝えたところによると、米商務省の男性職員が数カ月前に家族に会うため中国を訪れた際、同職員がビザ（査証）申請の際に米国政府職員であることを申告しなかったとして出国を拒否された。特許商標庁は商務省の傘下にある。

米商務省はコメントの要請に応じていない。

一方、中国外務省の郭嘉昆報道官は２２日の定例記者会見でこの件について質問された際、提供できる情報を持っていないと回答。「中国は法に支配された国であり、出入国に関する全ての問題は法に従って処理される」と述べた。

中国ではウェルズ・ファーゴ(WFC.N), opens new tabの女性幹部社員の出国が禁じられたことが明らかになったばかり。中国外務省は２１日、同幹部が刑事事件に関与しており、捜査に協力する義務があると説明した。
