トルコがユーロファイター調達へ、英と合意締結独が承認と報道

［イスタンブール　２３日　ロイター］ - トルコは２３日、欧州諸国が共同開発した戦闘機「ユーロファイター・タイフーン」を運用について英国と暫定合意を交わした。またドイツがトルコへの同機４０機の納入を承認したと報じられた。

北大西洋条約機構（ＮＡＴＯ）加盟国のトルコは、地域の地政学的情勢が不安定な中、防衛力の強化を目指している。国内で防衛産業プロジェクトを進めるとともに、海外から防衛装備品を調達するため、ユーロファイターのほか米国とＦ－１６調達交渉を行っている。

トルコ・イスタンブールで行われた調印式には両国の国防相が出席。ギュレル国防相は、合意は二国間関係を強化し、トルコの航空能力の支援すると同時にＮＡＴＯの航空戦力の増強にもなると述べた。

独誌シュピーゲルは、ドイツがトルコにユーロファイター４０機を引き渡す道が開かれたと報じた。防衛装備品の輸出で承認を必要とする連邦安全保障理事会が前向きな決定を下したとした。ドイツ国防省はコメントを控えた。
