和平協議「数日内」とパキスタン、イランは米が地上攻撃計画と非難

[イスラマバード／テルアビブ２９日ロイター] - パキスタンのダール外相は２９日、中東紛争終結に向けた米国とイランの協議をパキスタンの仲介で数日内にも開く用意を進めていると明らかにした。イラン側は、米国が‌交渉を求める一方で地上攻撃を準備していると非難した。

ダール氏はサウジアラビア、トルコ、エジプトの各外相と会談後、早期かつ恒久的な戦闘終結のための方法や、パキスタンの首都イスラマバードで米国とイランの協議を行う可能性について話し合ったと明らかにした。

「現在進行中の紛⁠争を包括的かつ永続的に解決するため、数日内に両者間の有意義な協議を仲介し開催できることを光栄に思う」と述べた。米国とイランが参加に同意したかどうかは不明だ。

米国務省とホワイトハウスはコメント要請に返答していない。

イランのガリバフ国会議長はこれに先立ち、米国が交渉の可能性についてメッセージを送る一方で、同時に部隊派遣を計画していると非難し、米軍部隊が展開されればイランは対応する用意ができているとけん制。

国民向けのメッセージで「‌米国が⁠イランの降伏を求める限り、屈辱は決して受け入れないというのがわれわれの答えだ」と述べた。

米軍は数千人の海兵隊員を中東に派遣しており、２つの部隊のうち一つ目が２７日、強襲揚陸艦で到着した。

米紙ワシントン・ポストは複数の米政府当局者の話として、国防⁠総省がイランで数週間にわたる地上作戦の準備を進めていると報じている。

イスラエル当局者は、イラン国内の「軍事目標」に対する空爆を継続すると述べ、米国とイランの交⁠渉を控えて作戦を縮小するつもりはないと強調した。

関係筋によると、パキスタン、サウジアラビア、トルコ、エジプトによる協議では、海上輸送の要衝⁠ホルムズ海峡の航行再開に向けた提案が焦点となった。

２８日にはイエメンの親イラン武装組織フーシ派がイスラエルを攻撃し紛争に参戦、もう一つの要衝であるバベルマンデブ海峡を攻撃し、事実上封鎖する可能性が高まった。
