ブラック・サバス＆オジー・オズボーン、最後のライヴのセットリストが明らかに

ブラック・サバスは最後のライヴが行われ、ザ・ローリング・ストーンズ、エアロスミス、レッド・ホット・チリ・ペッパーズ、レイジ・アゲインスト・ザ・マシーン、ブリンク182のメンバーらが参加している。
「バック・トゥ・ザ・ベーシック」と題された歴史的な公演は現地時間7月5日にバーミンガムのヴィラ・パークで開催され、レイジ・アゲインスト・ザ・マシーンのギタリストであるトム・モレロが音楽監督を務め、ハード・ロック界の錚々たる人物が参加している。
トム・モレロは「スーパーグループB」としてステージにも登場して、エアロスミスのスティーヴン・タイラーがヴォーカルを務め、ザ・ローリング・ストーンズのロニー・ウッド、エクストリームのヌーノ・ベッテンコートがギターを、クワイエット・ライオットのルディ・サーゾがベースを、ブリンク182のトラヴィス・バーカーがドラムを担当して、“Train Kept A Rollin”を演奏している。
その後、トラヴィス・バーカーに代わってレッド・ホット・チリ・ペッパーズのチャド・スミスがドラムを担当して、エアロスミスの“Walk This Way”、レッド・ツェッペリンの“Whole Lotta Love”を演奏している。

ライヴにはメタリカ、スレイヤー、パンテラ、アリス・イン・チェインズ、ゴジラ、アンスラックス、スマッシング・パンプキンズのビリー・コーガン、ガンズ・アンド・ローゼズ、トゥール、サウンドガーデンのメンバーらも参加している。
オジー・オズボーンは2018年以降、フルでのライヴは行っておらず、2019年の転倒で脊椎損傷が悪化することになり、複数の手術を行ったほか、肺炎と長年の感染症に加え、パーキンソン病も抱えるなど、様々な健康問題に直面してきた。
ブラック・サバスのライヴに先立ってオジー・オズボーンはソロとしてのパフォーマンスを披露しており、ステージ下から巨大な翼のついた玉座に乗って登場して、“I Don’t Know”と“Mr. Crowley”を披露している。
「このステージに立てて素晴らしいよ。どんな気分か、分からないだろう」とオジー・オズボーンは観客に語っている。「マッドネスの始まりだ」
“Suicide Solution”を挟み、オジー・オズボーンはソロのパフォーマンスを“Mama, I’m Coming Home”と“Crazy Train”で締めくくっている。“Crazy Train”はヴィラ・パークでのアストン・ヴィラの試合でキックオフの前に必ず流される曲となっている。

ブラック・サバスは22時過ぎにサイレンと赤いストロボ照明の中でステージに立っている。“War Pigs”で幕を開けたライヴは“N.I.B.”、“Iron Man”と続き、最後となった“Paranoid”の紹介時にオジー・オズボーンは次のように語っている。「次が最後の曲だ。みんなの応援のおかげで素晴らしいライフスタイルを生きることができた。心の底から感謝しているよ」
